With a running dinner you can sail comfortably through the canals of Amsterdam. The skipper will moor the boat in front of the restaurant where you will disembark to have a meal there. Because you change from boat to restaurant, your cruise takes on a dynamic character. You will have plenty of time to catch up or network. We can tailor-make a running dinner cruise for you.
Small and large groups possible
The Running Dinner Amsterdam package is possible for a group of six people or more. We have capacity for more gourmets on board. From 60 guests we will use several salon boats at the same time. After a changing composition on board, the group is reunited in the restaurants.

What is the difference between a running dinner and a dinner cruise?
With a running dinner you sail from restaurant to restaurant. You can eat the dishes in the various restaurants. With an Amsterdam dinner cruise also called floating dinner, the dishes are served and eaten on board.
What is the difference between a running dinner and a walking dinner?
A Running Dinner is a dinner where you eat each course in a different restaurant. A Walking Dinner is a dinner without fixed seats. Several small dishes are served. There are no fixed seats. In short, dinner is consumed standing/walking. Rederij Mokum only organizes running dinners.
Is it possible to adapt a running dinner to your own wishes?
You decide which restaurants we visit during the running dinner.
Are there any additional costs?

5 tips to organize the perfect running dinner

- discuss the schedule with us in advance. We have extensive experience in estimating sailing times
- consider ordering it for 2 courses at the same restaurant, for example. For example, you can enjoy 1 course while sailing

In the middle of the iconic NDSM wharf. Surrounded by art, culture and history, IJver offers its guests a place to unwind, or to completely unpack. A warm industrial café-restaurant where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks from morning till night.
IJver offers its guests an atmosphere inspired by and building on its surroundings. Throughout the year, you can enjoy the inside of the unique building, covered on the heated indoor-outdoor terrace and in the summer you can enjoy a particularly large, sun-drenched terrace where you can also admire the special graffiti art in the area.

Hotel de Goudfazant
Contrary to what the name suggests, you cannot spend the night at Hotel de Goudfazant. However, you can enjoy a delicious 3-course menu here for 30 euros. The former factory warehouse of over 1000 m2 is furnished with a sense of decorum. The warehouse has retained its industrial character.
The rusty posts and old garage bridge contrast sharply with the tables covered with linen. Don’t be misled by the decoration. The stars of heaven are cooked here. Very suitable for larger groups.

La Rive
La Rive is the restaurant located in the Amstel Hotel in Amsterdam. Chef is Roger Rassin, who took over in 2008.
Former chefs include Robert Kranenborg and Edwin Kats. It has always had one or two Michelin stars from 1994 to 2016.
Amstel Brasserie
The Amstel Brasserie is the little brother of restaurant La Rive and therefore a good alternative.
